iMC Dozer - Importing, Exporting and Creating Project Files

Project File (*.tp3) - contains files of all types including control points, layers, point data and surfaces. It is imperative to be able to use machine control.

Importing and Setting Files

USB → Internal

  1. Turn on control box

  2. Insert USB into control box

  3. Press power ON/OFF to display the menu

  4. Navigate to File > Projects…

  5. In Project Files screen select Copy…

  6. In Copy files screen select USBHardDisk to 3DMC folder

  7. Select project file to be imported to the control box internal memory and press Ok

The selected project file is now imported to the internal memory of the control box.

  1. In Project Files screen, select the imported file and press Ok

The imported project file is now set as the current work in the control box.

Creating a Project File

  1. Navigate to File > Projects…

  2. In Project Files screen select New…

  3. Name the project file

  4. Preload data from the current project by selecting either Control point, localization, MM-GPS or Sitelink3D connection details and then Ok

Exporting a Project File

Pocket-3D is an application used for land survey. Through inputting survey points, design surface data, alignment data, etc in advance it is easier to navigate to survey points or cut positions or check the cut/fill amount while watching the screen.

  1. Navigate to File > Projects…

  2. In Project Files screen select Export…

  3. In Export screen, select Where: the file is to be exported to

  4. Select a file to export, or alternatively select All to export all project files
