How to Configure 3D Boundary Control

1. Open the Boundary Menu

  • On the ICT monitor, go to:
    File Menu → 3D Boundary

2. Set General Options

  • 3D Boundary Active → ON

  • Auto Stop Control → ON (machine will stop at the boundary) or OFF (warnings only).

  • Alert Distance → enter the distance (buffer) before reaching the boundary where warnings start.

  • Alert Sound → choose ON/OFF (buzzer when nearing boundary).

3. Create a New Boundary

There are two methods:

a) From Top View

  1. Tap Create New (Top).

  2. Select the first point and then the second point on the top view (plan).

  3. A virtual wall is drawn between them.

  4. Confirm and save.

b) From Profile View

  1. Tap Create New (Profile).

  2. Select the first point and second point along the profile (side view).

  3. You can also check Create Flat Plane for a level surface boundary.

  4. Confirm and save.

4. Activate and Manage Boundaries

  • You can store up to 6 boundaries.

  • Highlight the boundary in the list and tap Change Active.

  • Edit names, distances, or delete from the same menu.

5. Importing/Exporting Boundaries

  • Boundaries are saved as .PL3 files.

  • Use Input (import) or Output (export) in the Boundary menu to share or load new data.

⚠️ Safety Notes

  • When Auto Stop Control is ON, the machine may halt suddenly when reaching the limit — avoid using this on steep slopes or when carrying loads.

  • Always check the monitor warnings: a yellow warning means caution, red means stop immediately.
