Introduction
The Object Avoidance system uses radar sensors around the excavator to detect nearby obstacles and warn the operator. When enabled, it can provide alerts — and in some cases, automatically stop the machine — to help prevent collisions.
⚠️ Safety Notes
-
🔴 Do not rely only on object avoidance: Always maintain visual checks of your surroundings.
-
⚠️ False alarms are possible in tight areas or heavy rain/snow — operate cautiously.
-
✅ Use daily checks: Make sure the radar covers are clean and cables are secure before enabling.
Step-by-Step Instructions

-
-
-
Confirm activation
-
On the standard monitor screen, the Object Avoidance icon will be shown when the function is active.

-
Tips
-
If the system shows an error (“Radar not connected”), check cables and clean the radar covers.
-
You can temporarily disable Object Avoidance if working in confined areas where false alarms are constant.
Conclusion
Enabling Object Avoidance gives you extra protection against collisions. Always combine this system with safe operating practices and daily tech walk-around checks.
